4-5 seeds per plug, multiple sown directly into final pots is possible

Germination:
Germinates in 14-21 days at 65-70 °F (18-21 °C). Seed can be covered or uncovered after sowing.

Growing On:
Transplant plugs after 4-6 weeks. Grow on at temperatures of 50-55 °F (10-13 °C).

Media:
Use a well-drained, growing substrate with 20-30
% clay, 2-3 kg/m³ complete balanced fertilizer,
0-2 kg/m³ slow release fertilizer (3-6 months), iron-chelate, micronutrients, pH: 5.5-6.0. For container production the application of a slow release fertilizer is recommended.

Temperature:
Grow at 14-15 °C. For selling it is recommended to harden the plants slowly. Cobaea does not tolerate frost. Wintering in conservatory or cold greenhouse is possible, but very difficult.
